A psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive, in-depth look at your mental, emotional, and behavioral health — the foundation for your entire treatment plan. At Apex, we don't rush it: your first session runs 60–90 minutes so we can get an accurate picture before recommending anything.
How It Works
- Intake paperwork — a secure link to complete your history before your visit, so we don't waste time on it in person.
- Clinical interview (60–90 min) — a one-on-one conversation about your symptoms, history, and goals.
- Mental status exam — a gentle assessment of mood, thought patterns, and focus. Not a test you can fail.
- Collaborative diagnosis & plan — we explain what we're seeing in plain language and build a plan together.
- Follow-up scheduled — before you leave, so there's no gap in your care.
